Friday, September 20th-- Opioid Summit, Atlantic City 8:30am -4pm- The New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), is holding its Opioid Summit on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Atlantic City Convention Center located at One Convention Boulevard; Atlantic City, New Jersey.  The goal of the Summit is to address the stigma and misinformation surrounding Opioid Use Disorders (OUD) and to enhance the understanding of treatment options, such as medication assisted treatment (MAT). This year’s Summit, Saving Lives and Changing Perceptions: Medication Assisted Treatment, will feature national and local leaders, state departments, community partners, peers and peer workers, treatment and prevention providers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals who will share innovative strategies to address the current crisis.  Register here:
